Started in 1725, by Thomas Barton, Barton & Guestier (B&G) is the oldest active winehouse in Bordeaux. In 1802 Daniel Guestier partnered with Hugh Barton, the grandson of Thomas Barton. In the 1800’s President Thomas Jefferson was one of the earlier clients of B&G. In modern day, 16 million bottles of wine are enjoyed in over 130 countries.
